Does anyone know how many number one hits the supremes had? I’m interested in this group and love their music. Where can I find out more information?

The Supremes are still considered to be The most talented vocal group of today’s date. They have 12 number one hits on the Billboard hot 100 and no other focal group has beat that yet. To have 12 songs that hit number one on the billboards is such a huge defeat and especially for African-Americans in that time period. People don’t understand how good they actually were because they were pushing out songs that were number one hits by the dime a dozen.

I consider them to be the most successful vocal group or band that includes actually real vocals instead of computerized music. So many good bands today are just using computers to make themselves sound so good when I actually don’t sound that good. In the 1970s they didn’t have this kind of technology so the only thing they could do is basically use their real vocals and sound as good as they could.

As they said they had 12 number one hits which is saying a lot for the time of what they had for technology and whatnot.
